Everything Worked
I can work on most anything, but found this device to be suitable for beginners too. The manual was easy to follow and the device was easy to use – there are only 2 buttons.

I’ve only had this a few weeks, but I’ve already pulled several codes from my own vehicle (1998 Volvo S70-T5) and a couple coworkers (a 2000 passat, 2005 ram, and a 2006 elantra)…

Performs “as advertised”
I ordered this unit for the specific purpose of reading and clearing trouble codes in my 2002 Toyota Sienna minivan. It performs these functions as expected.

Did not detect DTC when the CEL was on.
I have P0430 on my 2000 Nissan Maxima (confirmed via another scanner). This one said “DTC 0″ and “NO CODE” even though the check engine light is glaring at me.

Neither of our cars was showing a trouble code, so I don't know how the MaxiScan works to actually retrieve a code, but it functioned exactly as advertised on my 2003 Saab 9-3...
